First of all, thank you for your diligence to follow my adventures in NYC, I feel like I took a bit of you in my luggage and it’s good!
Today I take you on the shooting of the December issue of a popular magazine: The Family Circle. That’s really the equivalent of Madame Figaro in France. So the editorial for an age 35-65. Here is a magazine that has many players as there since 1932, in other words an institution. It is also the sponsor of the magazine Family Circle Cup, the only tennis tournament on clay for US, an event that takes place every year in South Carolina and followed by many Americans.
The December issue is obviously looks to prepare for the holiday season, so a set rhinestones and glitter you like them with a chic styling, but at prices quite affordable. It is already preparing the new year!
The shoot took place at the Times Hotel in the heart of Midtown “walking distance” from Times Square, Central Park or Rockefeller Center. But mostly surrounded by the boutiques of Madison and Fifth Avenue. If you go through NY, take a walk for a drink or even lunch.
For this session, I was accompanied by two models girls, Stephanie and Emily and a boy (oops, I forgot his name …)
The complexion makeup artist working with an airbrush, English air brush make up, it’s a spray that can mix several shades of foundation to get the perfect skin tone. Magic! I let you discover or rediscover this technique has the advantage of being fast and really gives a zero defect results. I’m going to “air brush” more often I think.
Other than that, I’m looking for my Halloween costume already … New Yorkers are so fond of this holiday as the mad rush to disguise the most innovative has already begun. If you have any suggestions … Welcome!
