So my first day’s work in NYC. I have an appointment in New Jersey. New Jersey … OK … this is where exactly? So I look at a plan, but I plan on there … well NY and much lower in a corner … I finally found New Jersey. Bus? Metro? At 8am to go for the first time on my own, I have a big lazy and especially I think I would have more quickly by taxi.

So here I am down with me to hail a cab. The first driver refuses to take me there. The second also even more radical-based “no fucking way”, like in the third … I’m starting to wonder why no one wants to set foot there … Eventually my perseverance pays off as the fourth was the ‘charitable soul, and perhaps a little pity, agrees to take me …

It is already 8:30 … I have an appointment at 9 o’clock and I understand that we are almost 45-minute drive … It is wrong committed. If I arrive late, the client obviously referring to the agency … is not good.

The episode of my arrival in New Jersey, you’ve had a glimpse through the previous post. Irene has left its mark and the road can cross the bridge is impassable because literally totally flooded. Only large trucks can use it. Suffice to say that my little taxi very nice to me starting this plant without warning or regret!

I am alone, I’m stuck, I am soaked, the cop asks me to clear … This is the class!

Finally listening to my instinct model, (yes the modeling is a jungle), I stop with the trucks to pass on the other side. A real cool guy (the road are nice as is well known), accepts and I find myself climbing the huge gear (do not misunderstand the meaning of this sentence …). These trucks are striking when seen from near the mountains of scrap metal are incredible. He must climb at least 5 steps to get to the cabin.

I offer the driver my best smile. It seems to suit him. It’s 9:30 …

Then I start the day. Photographer complains of unfair competition from inexperienced youngsters as they improvised the profession have just bought their first automatic … the makeup looks in the end … I do the rolls shrink throughout the preparation.

It was then that the day I will follow up the fittings to finish late at night with my meter to over 60 different outfits photographed.

The client is a private sales website online and it has lots and lots of clothes … dress, trousers, shirts, T-shirt, shoes, coats, everything goes. From the front, side, you scroll a little back. It’s part of the trade.

But the business model is primarily improvise, to listen, be patient, smile, laugh, meet, share, play, be surprised … It is for these reasons that I do!
