Laura is just my little angel.
Remember, I had already presented here through here looks that always inspire me. We had met three years ago… she lives between nyc and paris and most of all, we are inseparable , even  when the ocean separates us … blabla you remember the story.
Laura is just the cool girl who sees the positive in everything that happens (or not) whith who i love to spend time even doing nothing. For her, there are always things to learn, especially to share. She is not the tipe of girl not wanting to mix friends, ambiance, projects or travel …  So what better than to ask her to embark us in nyc through a few questions …

What is your favorite neighborhood in the city? and Why?

It really depends on the moment, that is to say my morale, the energy of the city, especially the day of the week. I love to hang out in Soho to do my shopping but never on weekends. In general I work on Sunday after noon, but on Saturday, i love to hang out  in the West Village or uptown.
As a Parisian i have  always loved  the soho district that is very touristic , I think I love it because all my “spots” are their, but more importantly, you can hear some French, Italian or Swedish conversations… It reminds me every time that we are all equal in nyc.

Well… we slept in Time square during Sandy, and I must confess that it was nice being a tourist in your own city. the rest of the time, my home!

The bowery, I’ll usualy go their at 3 pm for tea and stay until midnight for after drinks and a plate of pasta at Gemma.

Mercer hotel but for breakfast and cofee too!!

Where do you eat the best burger in town?

I will not surprise anyone by saying that shake shack is THE place, or maybe the one of the Meridien Hotel. In contrast, the New York does not eat burger, if not the one with tofu with soy-sunflower seeds.

 

Drinks or hit the dancefloor?

I love hotel bars, my favorit would be the Jane

 

What is your favorite fashion store ?

Warm in soho.

For hair, I stay very Parisian…
When I could not travel, shalom, former hairdresser of the Vogue fashion shoots would receive me, super friendly, fast, and perfectly”cut”!

Your secret spot?

Surf club in brooklyn… I go by bike, there is sand on the terrace, I remove my shoes and  spend a hole afternoon their or with 10 friends talking about everything and nothing . On a bad day, that is my place to be

Otherwise, the museums, not secret, but perfect to see the world through exhibitions.

 

Your perfect New-York day?

Take the weekends I am really more fun. India knows me when I work … It is not the most glamorcus or vibrating side of me in nyc. Ballet dance in the morning,  a walk on the highline or westvillage with my cup of coffee … shopping for the house, lunch with my lover or friends, culture, a movie or sometimes a day at the spa. In the evenings, dinner with the girls or my boyfriend depending on the last updates!

What is not to be missed ?

the color of the sky BLUE BLUE BLUE,
the dancers in central park, the spectacle of sleep no more,  boat tour around the Statue of Liberty, walks on the bridge of Brooklyn, young rappers on union square, view of the boats in Financial District, the hunter looks in brooklyn and all its little shops,
